Susan! Thank you SO much for sharing this! Trying to keep my branching storylines seperate has been a massive headache, and I've been searching for a writing program like this for ages. It even has helpful video tutorials! Pure awesomeness!

Thx for the sharing, i was trying to use freemind for the same purpose ( nodal logic) i will see if this work better.

Other more achieved interactive text builder already exist like Inform or Undum but i definitly like a nodal interface like in Twine.

Maybe he can do some improvement on the look and the Ergonomics by inspiring himself with the nodal interface in 3d software like blender.

Sorry for necroposting, but I was digging through old threads to look for things to put into the OELVN wiki.

I've downloaded Twine from the website and installed it numerous times, but I always get this error saying I don't have the "MSVCP71.dll" file. I tried to look through their Google Group and found this, tossed those files in, and it still didn't work. Can anyone lend me this mysterious MSVCP71.dll file or a link to a download of Twine that actually works? I have so many short stories that would work so well in Twine now that I think about it ;-;

Nice tool looks just like what I need for the more complicated parts of my story (3 parallel plot lines which influence each other)

You should have it, it's included by default in current versions of Windows and I believe some WinXP service pack (2 or 3). Check C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Windows\SysWOW64

Wow, copying that file from one of the Program files did the trick... I guess I'll just enjoy my Twine now.

Oh thanks, it could be useful. My personnal VN don't have any choice but I could use it to organise Higurashi Matsuri's tree system.

Twine 2.0 now available as browser based, it works with Linux and tablets. It also can still be 100% local to the computer.

There's more information regarding to Twine 2, here.
