where can i find free sites characters for my game?

hello everyone,

I am new to the website(Well i've been "on" it for awhile,But i haven't had an account for long.)And I am making a game corrently,Called College Jam.

Right now i have some backrounds and some diolage done,But I really need some characters,But i can't afford them right now

If anyone knows a site I can go to for free characters ,It would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Can we use everything from Bassnovel.com as in free of charge or do we have to credited them one way or another?
I've seen many interesting and useful stuff there (man, I'm awed by the sheer number of it, at least for now) but I don't know whether I can sue it freely like that.

Short answer: no, you can't. See here and here.

BASSnovel materials are only for use within BASSnovel projects, unless you get permission from the creator(s) of the materials you want to use.

I know some folks have already used them in projects here, but they may not have known. I had to dig a bit to find the general rights info.

Ah, thank you for the answer. Been wondering about that since the site itself has a lot of BG, I thought I can use it freely. A load of my mind, but now I have to look somewhere else for BG...

Have you checked the OELVN community wiki for resources? (Link here to the main index.) There are some links that go out to Japanese sites, though, so it's not always clear what permissions are or are not granted if you can't read Japanese.

It's not a lot, but hopefully it gives you something to work with.

Thank you, I've checked it out.I can use some of it, but the BG I'm looking for are BGs that have fantasy medieval theme. Maybe I haven't look all over the stuff there, but it seems like most of them are school theme. I mayeb used it for my next project, but for now, I'm looking for fantasy or medieval theme BG.
