Help Me With A Game Title for a B/B dating vn? [resolved]

Hey guys!

I'm changing the name of my game because of a previous game has a pretty similar title. My game was previously called "Coming Out on Top" (the other game is Sexy Yuri's G/G "Coming Out.")

My game is a B/B, about a guy who comes out in his senior year of college and enters the gay dating scene.

The game, as it stands, will only have one dating option.

The game is mostly a lighthearted comedy. It has suggestive sexual themes and humor but no graphic sexual content. (A rated PG-13 movie bordering on R.) If enough people play it and like it, I'm going to add an adult version and more relationships.


Names I'm considering:

"Higher Education"
"What I Learned In College"
"Out and About"
"Out and About: Higher Education"
"Adventures of a Boy in College"
"Schooled"

What names do you like, if any? Any suggestions? If you give me a name and I end up using it, you will be listed on the credits!!! (Or not...since you might not be into the B/B genre.)

"Out and About" and "What I Learned in College" sound interesting. @_@ Not that really sure though...I probably won't be able to play it since I don't think my parents would like to see me playing such a game (our computer is in front of the dining table, so it's somewhat hard to hide. OTL)

I heard that the name for "Coming Out" had been changed to Paridise+

"What I learned in College" seems nice. But it will only be so if in any case the protagonist had any experience in his education that influences his relationships, that is.

@panda--I actually saw the thread yesterday and offered to change the name of my game since he/she had announced their game first. They want their old name back so they took me up on the offer.

Well, the original was alluding to coming out of the closet so why not "Open Doors" or something of the sort. The door to the closet is now open, but I believe it also alludes to the opportunities he now has as an uncloseted homosexual male. Plus he's almost done university and has this whole world ahead of him. I'm sure something can be done to it to make some sort of pun, but it's late and I'm not feeling so creative in the bad joke department right now xD

Huh, that's a huge pity. The old title was three* puns in one, and I doubt any of your working title can match that incredible efficiency.

I appreciate all the suggestions, everyone! Open Doors makes me think of immigration for some reason...but I get what you mean.

I'm leaning towards "Out and About: College Style."

I almost would want to use "Coming Out On Top: College Style" but is that still too much like the other game, "Coming Out"? What do you all think?

Basically, the game would go "scene black" at pivotal moments, with just the words "gay stuff" across the screen.

I honestly think your original game title best suits your VN. The yuri VN and the other VN you mentioned both have 'come out' in them, but so what? You should be able to still have your game title because it is different enough :]. That's all I'm saying~
