Here's the challenge: you have to create the worst possible visual or kinetic novel you can imagine. Stick figures, backgrounds of just a single colour, terrible grammar off-key music, inaccurate accents and a nonsensical storyline. These are just a few examples of the kinds of things that could make a terrible game.
Here are the rules:
The due date of your VN/KN is July 31st, 2012. That is 3 weeks from now.
The play time should be between 3 and a maximum of 10 minutes.
This must would preferably be the first VN/KN you have released.
There are no prizes, or winners. We *may* have winners (losers?) for certain categories of fail.
One game per person or team. If you are in 2 teams, then that is ok.
It should be a new game (started after this topic was made)
And yeah, I keep changing the rules. But to be honest these rules are more like guidelines.
The purpose of this event? To get those procrastinators to experience actually completing a game, without having their own quest for perfection holding them back.
And here are all the downloads. If I missed your game (and it was uploaded at least an hour ago) feel free to PM me.

"We must teach them through the tools with which they are comfortable."
The #renpy IRC channel is a great place to chat with other devs. Due to the nature of IRC and timezone differences, people probably won't reply right away.
If you'd like to view or use any code from my VN PM me. All code is freely available without restriction, but also without warranty or (much) support.
Hmm, maybe the rules can be bent a bit. After all, it is meant to be for fun, and to get new creators to release a stress free game, just to get the ball rolling.

1 Swag Point for Hijiri.
In all honesty though I think this is a good idea, although I'm probably going to make mine on the attempt of being funny more so then just throwing stuff I can come up with out there.
I am way to much of a perfectionist to not do this.
By the way, is there any way we should tag it so people don't have heart attacks from the massive concentration of pure horribleness that is July 31st?
Not really sure. I guess that would be up to the forum admins, but there should at least be a link to each game in this topic.
