Hmmm... I hope there are no masterpieces. That would defeat the purpose.
Plus if a game is starting to become quite good, the creator(s) would probably keep it as a future project, and submit a completely different game. To be honest there is no reason why anyone couldn't make a game in an afternoon. The lower the abilities, the better!

I think I want to do this. I guess I could take one of my old school projects and morph it into a short VN (and make it even more hammy/ridiculous than it was before).

I'm not going to participate in this, but I just want to say that this is a great idea. It's a good excuse for people to learn how to use Ren'Py while having a lot of low pressure fun. It needs to be a new game. To be fair, there shouldn't be much effort involved in making a new game for this. And if there is effort, you're doing it wrong.
