I'm on 6.14. I haven't had a problem, yet...

I figure if the game's simple enough then 6.14 shouldn't be a problem.

I'm interested in signing up whenever the signing up thing actually happens!

Okay, gotten a bit behind here but I have most of a template put together for what I'll be handing out. The package includes

One character with about 14 expressions
15 backgrounds of stock photography
10 music files

File setup has the window size, font, and text boxes customised, just to keep this from all looking TOO painfully generic. :)

Entire project folder download is about 20MB.

Can you think of anything else obvious that I should personalise/include before this can be handed out to people? My intention is for people to each write their entire entry in a single .rpy and leave the existing ones ALONE, other than changing their own script.rpy to point to whatever label they're starting their story in.

I'm not bothering with stuff like menus and preferences at the moment because it's really not worth my time before the project's even started.

Not sure I can get enough range for it to be worth having any at all...

Sounds aren't that important I think. We can just wing it on that part.
Everything else seems fine to me from an asset point of view.
When would this actually start?

Also, I want to give a big thanks to OokamiKasumi for volunteering to donate backgrounds but I think *this* time I'll pass and stick with these photos I've grabbed. After all, this is a first time! If this contest goes well we can hopefully have another one later and then I'd love to organise the background-getting a bit more. :)

Okay, rules and links are up, hopefully I haven't left out anything too important.

You may now facepalm as you find out what the prompt and the sprite actually are. :)
