It will give you two "plots": A fact about the beginning of the story (like the protagonist going to a speed date or getting a new job) and a later problem (like a second character being abducted by protagonists best friend or being a zoologist working on a biologial weapon or being a bus driver from the future).

Doesn't matter if someone wants to use that seriously, I would even share it just for the fun of reading through the possible twists of those plots x3

I guess many of those ideas make it in fact more difficult to write a compelling story. But I do like the concept. I've seen things like that for characters which had much more information than just two sentences. Unfortunately, I did not bookmark it back then.

Surely this person from the future is able to tell that being mugged sucks. You need the future laws to make this official.

Another character is a researcher who is playing a joke that's gone wrong.

I... oh, let's just leave this uncommented. I'm sure there are plenty of movies to this one.

The story starts when your protagonist pretends to be sick.
Another character is a geologist who is fluent in six languages.

Errr... What?
Okay... maybe the protagonist can't talk anymore in his native language because of his sickness and thus they call the geologist so that he can try to communicate with him?
I don't even know anymore.

Another character is a bus driver who is sensitive to others' auras.

Best love story ever.
