Elven Relations isn't dead yet :)
Wow! I turn up at the forums after the summer and find people still remember me! 
Well, Elven Relations is still happening. The summer 2004 release date is out of the window, obviously. Maybe end of November. I'd really like to get Elven Rel released in 2004, but the rate-determining step will be graphic artists' speed or my scriptwriting speed! There were months where I was basically not doing anything on ER at all because of RSI, and my graphic artists (not knowing whether the game would carry on) didn't do much themselves either. The character artist is finding himself busy with college work - I may end up getting someone else to colour his black-and-white art.
But although I got discouraged for a bit, I'm still really committed, and keep getting more so as I continue writing the script of the characters who I love.
And it's immensely motivating to hear you guys still looking forward to it! I'll let you know if I decide to release a demo or something; for the moment, though, thanks for your belief, and I won't let you down! Elven Relations was conceived over a year ago, and I want to get it finished and released as soon as possible
And to other creators of upcoming games: keep at it! Stick at it and encourage your team! People want to see your creation and you'll feel good in yourself for finishing it!
