Royalty free music site

#1 Post by Urikol » Wed Jul 17, 2013 12:59 pm

Not sure if this is in the right category, but I looked first and it seems it should be here so...

So, I heard getting music to use commercially in games can be a pretty hard and stressful thing to when it's not your own music.
So I wanted to share a site that might be useful to everyone.

I found a nice music and SFX making site that sells royalty free music for anyone that might be interested in using their music for commercial games.

According to the F.A.Q. You only need to pay once and you can use their music in any project forever for as many times as you wish.
(The price is beside the songs when you search)

It's called "Nash music library"

http://www.nash.jp/nml/

Here's their F.A.Q.

I haven't used it yet, though I plan on making an account there someday when I need it.

I have looked around the site, they have songs with voices and instrumentals of all sorts. Useful Sound effects, even short voice clips if you need it. There's even a category for anime. :D

I hope this helps anyone who's looking for good music to use commercially.

That site has some nice songs xD
The vocal watermark "music player" thing is kind of annoying to listen to though.
I mean, I know why it's there, but still.

No, they're not free. Royalty-free is a different thing.

Papillon was referring to the person who says it should be in the creative commons forum. Only things that are released in to creative commons (thus free) can go there.

Oh... Sorry then. I can never understand who's talking to who on forums unless they quote that person. :\ Which is why I quote all the time.
