Character Name Tag or Picture
I was wondering which you prefer, having the name over the text box or having a photo by the text box. I can never decide, I like both and sometimes I just can't feel the project out for which would work better.

I think in one of my small creations I actually used both, but I generally pick one or the other for some reason :pSakai wrote:Why not both?

Re: Character Name Tag or Picture
I like it best when a picture is only next to the text when it adds something you don't get from the normal sprites. I require the name tag, I'm horrible at names and I don't want to stop in the middle of something to think "That name that was just referenced, who does it belong to?" Picture or no picture, I think it should be there.

I usually also only have the name tag.
Sometimes, I prefer the MC to have his image next to the text, but only because I came across quite a few games that had the game in "1st person view", so it was actually almost necessary, to know what the MC was feeling, what he looked like, etc.

I prefer just the nametag, unless a character is maybe speaking off screen, then adding a photo might be beneficial. Especially for facial expression so the reader can interpret the emotion.
New to the forum. Good things to come!....erm, I hope.
