VN based on real life stories?
I wonder how would it impact the VN that bases its story on a true life stories whether about the story of the author's life or someone else. Is it wise to make a VN based on someones life or even myself?

Re: VN based on real life stories?
There's plenty of biographies and autobiographies in prose fiction and film. A few exist in the form of comics. I don't know if any exist in video game formats. (Maybe text adventure or experimental indie games?)
If you want to include choices, think about why they'd be relevant. For instance, can the reader alter the story, or hear it told in another way?

If it would be interesting as a book/memoir, it would be interesting as a visual novel.
You could always do a VN "based on a true story" of something that happened to you. Or a more serious memoir-type idea.
Choices could alter the story (if it's loosely based on your life or someone else's), or they could change the viewpoint (if it's more of a strict memoir/biography).

Re: VN based on real life stories?
In a lot of VNs, there are almost always certain characters whose stories we are familiar with. When games are made, creators unconsciously (or purposely) make the characters in a way that we can connect with them.
In romance games, for example, many of us have had feelings of rejection, so if the character in the game is getting dumped, these people can connect with that character.
In drama VNs, another example, if the main character feels upset or lost on what to do for their situation, it is an emotion most of us can relate to.
My point is that most VNs already have minor "true stories" in them so that people can connect to the game. If you make the entire game based on true events, I'd say that's pretty cool, and it's a pretty good idea. Even people who have not experienced anything close to the events will be able to experience these types of things.
