Does Indiegogo Allow 18+ Games?

I have been thinking of ways to fund my 18+ game, The Brothel Owner (so I can post in this section, I won't talk about the game itself). And since Indiegogo seems to have some successful mature things, I was wondering if anyone could do a double check and tell me if you think it would accept those types of games.

I don't know if your game will be allowed in Indiegogo. But I have seen some 18+ comics and games on Kickstarter.

Although I'm not risking any income by doing so, I think we should take the position that love scenes in a larger game should not be enough to deem the game pornographic. Just like with movies, it's the proportion and intent of the adult scenes that should determine what the people decide the game is.

I think people here on LSF and the larger VN community have the ability to influence this discussion, as VNs are still a new artform, at least in the west.

Well, both certainly make for bad erotica, but they are hardly pornographic by traditional definitions. Case in point.

If you want to crowdfund an all-out adult game (with explicit sex scenes and perhaps also other mature content), consider using Offbeatr.

IndieGoGo is tricky, as I don't have any experience seeing such things. I know that there has been at least one VERY NSFW VN funded successfully on Kickstarter, as well as some erotic yaoi comic book paraphernalia. If you're not sure about IndieGoGo, I can at least say that Kickstarter doesn't seem to take issue, though their reluctance to accept foreign currency still grates on me a bit.
