fom http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... =4&t=25416I understand there are a lot of writing circles for novelists, but not sure if there are any for English language VNs.
I won't put up a wall of text here, but Wikipedia has a descriptive page on what writing circles are and how they work here.
So my question is, are many people interested in forming writing circles? If enough are interested, I'd also like to discuss suitable formats. For example, how best to share writing samples, suitable ways to give feedback, and how we can group people together sensibly. This is all with the presumption that it will take place online, as we are a sparse community, geographically speaking.
So.. This is kinda like a thread bump. Probably.
Anyways, I would like to join or form circles with the newer people. May they be leaning towards writing, art, music, and other VN aspects they'd want to improve themselves on. In my current project, I'm doing everything alone. I guess you could say being in a group having different people with different opinions are better.
So.. Is anyone interested?
So... We currently have:
SakuraHughes
Broodelin
Cola Cat
burnt_offering
MizuSenpai
Avalanche
So... How?
*IRC could be the best if you like being anonymous(oh, by the way, chrome has the CIRC app as an IRC client)
*Create a supported forum.(It'll take a while to make.. But still...)
*Facebook Group(we're pretty much limitless in terms of posting, images, and chatting, but it isn't really good for a supposed-to-be-anonymous bunch. Unless you say otherwise)
*Lemmasoft Forum(We can increase our post numbers here XD but , the newer posts can get deeper and deeper away. But then again, anyone can immediately join and leave the circle whenever they please, so it's a good thing, right?)
*Google Folder(I don't really know what this is, but it's like a desktop that's shared between members in a group.)
And another thing, once the circle gets settled, and if by chance everyone has spare time, we can make an OELVN(uncle Mugen said it has to be OELVN) of our own circle... But that's still ems away.
Suggestions?
edit:
Ok, we'll be using google drive for files and everything.
And for those new to google drive, Sakura made a bit to at least get you to the group. (She's doing most of the work =_=)
In addition, we've tweaked the Google drive group up a bit to at least condition it for those who aren't familiar with it.(I'm nowhere near exempted)1. Go to your google drive
https://drive.google.com/#my-drive
2. On the left side you should see "My Drive" followed by "Shared with Me"
Click that
3. You should see on your right after you click it "Writing Circle Groups"
Click that
4. You should see a document called " {Welcome} Please Read"
Click that
(Oh, more lastlys) If you're interested in joining you may pm SakuraHughes your Gmail or whatever Google address you have.
Thanks! (someone asked for a smiley)
