A day late with the update, but who's counting, eh?

Work on Star Story Saga: Renaissance has picked up over the last week. Ficedula has written more scenes that I can shake a stick at and Jake has decided to spend his time finishing up the backgrounds and getting to work on some animation.

Meanwhile, I've been working on the "minigames". Having written a bunch, testing amongst friends revealed that I had seriously overestimated people's bullet-dodging abilities. Hopefully the difficulty problem is solved now!

Scenes written: 21/26
Characters: 7/8
Backgrounds: 9/10

Everyone on IRC has already known this for a while, but I'm out, sadly. Work has been WAAAAY busier than anticipated (>50 hour work weeks ARGH), so I wasn't really able to make any progress after the first week, sadly. ;_;

Best of luck to everyone else as we approach the final stretch... you can do it!

Not at all! If you make a short game, you should be able to do it in one week. =)

My Progress:
Art: 90%
Story: 10%
Code: 10%
Music: 100%

5 more days! D: :gasp:

I suppose it's a bit late to announce this, but I effectively dropped out of NaNoRenO about a week ago. I've just been too busy with school, and caught up in other recent obsessions (such as Tarot cards). Still, I will make a visual novel... eventually. I actually have another that I started aside from the one I was intending to do for NaNo which might be easier to complete, so maybe I'll do that first.

Good luck to everyone else finishing soon, though!

And you thought I was dead. owo

This is a collab with my brother. The pre-release should be done in time for NaNo.

Wow, cute! That's excellent to hear!

I'm looking forward so much to trying out the NaNo games... :D
I released 3 VNs, many moons ago: Elven Relations (IntRenAiMo 2007), When I Rule The World (NaNoRenO 2005), and Cloud Fairy (the Cute Light & Fluffy Project, 2009).
More recently I designed the board game Steam Works (published in 2015), available from a local gaming store near you!

Impressive screen, sake-bento. I'm amazed how the character doesn't seem that out of place in an actual photo.

As people get close to the release date, let me just point out that I've released 2 fixes for Ren'Py 6.6.1, which I recommend including in NaNoRenO games. (Except the ones that won't be using Ren'Py, of course.)
