Once I've finished the overdue article for the VN blog, and the music for N+L, I'll try and compose a few tracks for this.

I had said I was going to upload these, so here they are if anyone wants them... the 'painted' placeholder backgrounds used during Fatal Hearts development. feel free to use them for any free games, but they are not available for commercial work, primarily because I don't really know the legal status of images made from messing around with photographs of by-now-unknown-origin to this extent. :) (Some are clearly from-photo, some are very far removed from them...)

I might edit the wiki to add missing simple example in the online manual, but I need approval before editing. I know that one can edit after mine but I still consider it as a polite request to make an example submission post before editing. Now do I need to submit in this thread or in a new one?

From the wiki, here is the list of TODO examples to work on.

Be Bold. Add in the examples, and then if necessary I (or someone else) will fix them.

Hey going good everyone.

I thought of a way to contribute. On the 25th of each month (except Christmas), I will review a game made by someone from Lemmasoft. The review will be posted on my blog. To be fair, I suppose I'll pick a different developer each month. Does that sound okay? Would that be of interest to anyone?

Thanks =D.

I don't think it's up to anyone else to judge here. But it would certainly be of interest to at least me.

adorya : we really shouldn't wait for approval or we'll never have anything in there ^^;... I'm more in favor of notifying everyone of the addition so we can check it (to avoid letting a possibly erroneous modification to stay for too long) *after*.

I'm up for contributing. :3 I can draw a bit, so I'll take a break from my own work and do some other graphics. :3 Probably characters. Maybe I'll upload some background photos too!

I'd love to help but...where I am most suited here...is kinda hard :? Since I'm more critiquer and gamer than anything else, not sure how those skills will help in the pledge drive....

Umm... Not sure if this will help or not, but...
http://www.thefreesite.com/
This website has many interesting free things... I think the most important sections for VN creators would be the "Free graphics", "Free sounds" and possibly "Free fonts"... I don't think it has been pointed out yet, so...
May be handy for this next NaNoRenO. :wink:

Hmm... I've never tried composing for other people or doing requests. I'd give it a go, but at the moment I've no way to export my music- well, I can, but only as MIDI files. If anyone out there has some software and high quality orchestral VSTs/audio units, etc... I could provide MIDIs which can then be converted to MP3, etc...

Blue123: Why not just use Synthfont to turn your midis to mp3 or ogg?
How do you make your games? I see. Thank you for the prompt replies, but it is my considered opinion that you're doing it wrong inefficiently because I am a perfushenal professional. Do it my way this way and we can all ascend VN Nirvana together while allowing me to stroke my ego you will improve much faster. Also, please don't forget to thank me for this constructive critique or I will cry and bore you to death respond appropriately with a tl;dr rant discourse of epic adequately lengthy proportions. - Sarcasm Veiled in Euphemism: Secrets of Forum Civility by lordcloudx (Coming soon to an online ebook near you.)
