A game making device that will accept my mac
So...never done anything like making a game before, but I would like to make a non-linear but simple visual novel type. So I would like to use something like Renpy, but it seems my version of the mac os (like osX 10.3) is too early to work with anything I try to install. Really I only think that is the problem. I can't really tell. But what should I do!

Try to update your install of Python to the latest. You could try to work it from source, the source folder is /renpy/

Yeah, we only support 10.4 and up. (I'd like to support 10.3, but I don't have access to a 10.3 system to build/test on, and my mac seems to want to only compile for 10.4.)

I see.
You could always dual-boot Linux? I've never used a Apple Computer, so I'm unsure if it would work.

That's really a 'workaround' rather than a 'solution', though, isn't it?Twar3Draconis wrote:You could always dual-boot Linux? I've never used a Apple Computer, so I'm unsure if it would work.
