Lack of Proper Backgrounds

I'm currently working on a small project for SuNoFes. It has a bit of a fantasy theme in a time that would probably be most effectively compared to that in the movie "Howl's Moving Castle" or something similar such as the game "Recettear". I need to find a background of a small village and one that has a simple cottage or something similar. None of the threads in the CC section of the forums leads to anything I'm looking for.

Anyone have any other leads or anything like that? It'd be appreciated.

Also, if this isn't the proper forum to post something like this, I couldn't decide where to put it. Posting in the CC Section felt wrong... so I didn't. Lol.

what you asking for seems to be a custom background, the art type is very rare to come by now a days because it was done with many artist (except Recettear which was in 3D).

the only way to get that background is by paying someone or asking someone.

Well, recettear was an example of the timeline. I don't want someone to make a custom background with the same style as the game. I was just saying that I'm looking for backgrounds that have buildings that look like they were in that timeline. I don't really know how better to explain it.

Eh. I just picked out a few that will be a stretch, but will have to make do. I just wish I knew a way to make them retain their quality when I have to make them bigger.
