I am beginning to think that I heavily misused the term 'CG'.
What I am doing is that I draw and color them by hand, and then edit it digitally after scanning. I think I will even do additional coloring on the computer, but can it still be called CGs if it was hand-drawn (including coloring) in the first place? Even if I edit it? What I draw by hand are NOT sketches.
Oh, and the KN part might be cancelled, as I figured out how to add choices within my goal (400 pages).

Re: CG-only VN
Indeed. They're cinematic stills, where the character sprite and the background are drawn in the same image, instead of being separated like they usually are. There's a little more freedom with perspective and composition since you're not constrained to a strict character sprite, background formation.YonYonYon wrote:CG is a term used for Event Graphics. It's a little confusing, since CG usually stands for "computer generated" in other circles. But when it comes to visual novels, they can be hand drawn.
Things I've Written:
Sakura (Novel, Self Published, 80,000+ words)
City and Girl (Novel, First Draft, 70,000+ words)
Loka (Novel, Third Draft, 120,000+ words)
A layabout writer and programmer with lots of problems and even more ideas. Hyped for Persona 5.

Re: CG-only VN
I think a CG-only VN has its own appeal.
It might feel a bit like a picture books, the writing should be first priorty. There's no problem with a CG-only visual novel- just something to break the usual!
