Bah! Can't there be a "I love all hentai" option? I mean really, leaving the futanari fans out... No one cares...

The thing that concerns me most about pairings is whether they merit any value and enjoyment. I don't care about the gender. Nope. Not at all.

Also, i really hate it when most people assume that a game/manga/anime is crap just because of the pairing content. There's actually Girls' Love and Boys' Love stuff out there that's not porn! Well, actually, it's better to call them shoujo-ai and shounen-ai because I'm referring to the really old works by the Year 24 Group. I admit I can't find any (modern) GL or BL (or futanari, if you're wondering about that too) works with a worthwhile plot.

I'm actually getting used to BxB pairings. I pretty much like just about anything, though. Though... yuri is kind of meh. Even just shoujo-ai, unless it's amazingly cute or it has a catch/twist (like Kashimashi, which I don't even really consider shoujo-ai). If I had to rank them, though... It might look something like this:

GxB >= BxG > FxF/G/B (futa!) >= BxB (CD BxB is my personal favorite) > GxG

... though that's kind of the NSFW version. xD SFW might be more like:

GxB = BxB (CD plz, tho) = BxG = GxG

Ya rly.

But, yeah, I'm with a lot of people in the thread in that, as long as it's believable, the sex of the pairing (I'm kind of OCD about the definition of "gender" and "sex"; if we wanted to get into "gender," that would be a whole 'nother ballpark of combinations) doesn't matter. I'd take a cute GxG story that's well done over any crappy GxB one.
Feminine pronouns, plz.

I'm not familiar with the works of Year 24, but you might want to avoid the term shoujo-ai in particular. According to Wikipedia:
Following the pattern of shōnen-ai, a term already in use in North America to describe content involving non-sexual relationships between men, western fans coined the term shōjo-ai to describe yuri without explicit sex.[6] In Japan the term shōjo-ai (少女愛, shōjo-ai? lit. girl love) is not used with this meaning,[6] and instead tends to denote pedophilia, with an equivalent meaning to the English term "girllove".

Shoujo-ai was what they used to call GL. And vice versa with shounen-ai and BL. Here's a section of the wikipedia entry on "Yaoi" (redirected from "shounen-ai")
Shōnen-ai (少年愛, boy-love) originally meant ephebophilia or pederasty in Japan, but from the early 1970s to the late 1980s, was used to describe a new genre of shoujo manga, primarily by the Year 24 Group, about beautiful boys in love.

If I may toss my opinion out here, some nice, nonsexual g/g is excellent when done well. It makes my head explode into candy. 'Tis a good feeling.
For my next project I'm going to need a working toilet, a pair of pliers, a jar of cheez-whiz spread, 100 q-tips, a TV remote, a gearshift lever and a whole lot of duct tape. This is gonna be awesome.

I don't mind anything -- everything is fine. GirlxGirl, BoyxBoy, BoyxGirl, Tentacles, Incest, and the likes. I don't mind anything at all. :)

It's better to make a BxG VN though, because BxB may offend some people (I know there's a lot.) BxG, on the other hand, although how boring it may be it won't offend people as it is normal.

Anyway, everything's up to you. You create what you want -- whether people like it or not, it's up to them. :)

I don't really mind the pairings. What I first look in a story it's... hm... the story =D, so if the story is fine the other things don't matter much. If the story sucks, however...

The only thing I actually REALLY mind it's fanservice, because, it's awfull >.< IMO fanservice = lack of plot, so I may end up just dropping the story if it has lots of fanservice.

I don't like sex scenes too. Though it depends on the story and on how good they're written, I usually don't like it (I skipped all sex scenes in Tsukihime/Fate).

And if you're wondering. Actually, I'm a boy =D

I prefer Hetero pairings overall. I'm not particularly fond of yaoi and I don't understand the whole bandwagon. A large amount of yaoi-type stories tend to portray the same stereotypes over and over. Yuri tends to break more boundaries. xD

But... in order!
GxB > BxG > GxG > BxB

Hmm... I'm a hardcore hentai fan. I LOVE EVERYTHING!! (Well, except guro and scat. Yuck.) If a VN has some HQ sex scenes, I'm going to have it for sure! Too bad I can't download School Days and Shuffle! visual novels, because I don't have BitTorrent... It's sad when you can't download what you like.

On a happy note, I have a lot of hentai videos in my PC. :D

If "it" refers to BitTorrent, the program is free. On the other hand, buying the original games should be an option - if Mitsu is old enough to buy 18+ VNs, that is.

BitTorrent is free. It's just that my PC is unable to support it.

Yes, I probably should have written "them" instead of "it" since it was the games I was talking about buying, not BT ;)

To say it in a nice way, futanari or futa is a term for hermaphrodites - those who have reproductive organs of both genders - in anime/hentai. (In case you don't know much about hermas in real life, human hermaphrodites are rare and the phenomenon is more common in animals (snails for example).) This is a rather popular genre in hentai as the character will have the attractive features of both genders, meaning they can have for example breasts but still act like a man in a suggestive situation. These characters are, of course, very idealised compared to their real life counterparts. The characters often look like other girls in the anime/manga except for their genitalia.

...To be honest, I find futa kind of gross personally, but I had to post an explanation before someone more enthusiastic about the matter might give you a less... proper introduction to them. ^^;
