Hello!!
I was kinda wondering how make extra/bonus scenes in visual novels,those that couldn't fit in the main story..?
Like something "what happens after epilogue?". You see,I have this main story idea, but I just can't fit those "extra scenes/episodes" inside... the main story is quite short and lot those bonus scenes are supposed to be after the story and "end". But I'm only newbie... QAQ
I've seen similar things in some games:
Menu-> Extra-> short stories/Bonus scene/After story/Memory... etc... > >
So I was wondering does anybody know how to make that or has this question been asked before...?
How make extra/bonus scenes??

Re: How make extra/bonus scenes??
Well, it is in general very easy.
If you have your own custom menu anyway, just make a imagemap for each new menu point and when clicking "Memory", you jump to "label memory:" where the extra story part is located.
If you use the menu that comes with the game, you of course need to go through option.rpy and screen.rpy to edit the extra button into the menu to call a image map or create a additional manu.
But like I said, if you already have a custom menu, it is probably easier since you just call imagemap after imagemap until you arrive in the extra game.
And with Persistent Data, you can also lock them until the player has gotten the Golden Ending or gotten 50 relationship points with Mrs. Betty or whatever floats your boat
