I'm curious as I just had a situation where exchanging files via mails is not possible with a composer. Now skype is out of question (due to the policy changes over a year ago where microsoft gains ownership of all the creative work that has been exchanged via skype).
So I run into the question how to exchange files with a composer, artist, ... when neither mail nor skype are possible.
What options exist there?

How big are your files? what about dropbox (or other file sharing service) ?

My team uses google drive for the most part. If you are planning on sharing large data files you may want to looking into some sort of cloud storage or sharing service.
And I briefly looked into the skype thing. Doesn't seem to be real. Your files would be fine. It's the same freak out people have over thinking the deviant art site owned everything that was uploaded. Unless someone else can find more solid proof as I couldn't find anything definitive.

There was a big news report about it oh almost 2 years ago. The company I worked for stopped using skype because of that policy change. Could be they.
