As of 1:57 GMT+1 I have finally finished putting everything into Ren'Py.
Only that I "Baka" forgot to make the background SGA-image (Stick Girl Amatire) transparent... and that the centered-option has some really strange effects with longer strings... (instead of moving the begin of the line more to the left in begins it in the middle... and ends it beyond the gamewindow...) oh well.
Time to release... two hours, in the "normal" worst case, I think. ("normal" is without finding a bug that I can't solve, without a HD-crash, fire, war... well, you get the idea )
@Jerails
Go, go!
*secretly hopes that such a game would even worse than his and that he thus misses the "worst entry"-award*

What went wrong, why, and what one can do against it.
1. Putting writing the script etc. off
Why: Lazyness and being busy
Solution: Making exact minideadlines AND respecting them (Goodbye Chaotic Neutral alignment...)
2. Stick Figure
Why: My artist dropping out of the project
Solution: Not expecting that someone who never drew Manga could do it on her first try, and in time; AND having a backup plan (a nin-stickfigure Backupplan at that)
3. Bad flow of reading (esp. in the first part)
Why: Writing one or two sentences at a time, that stoping.
Solution:Concentrating on writing, even when MT released another comic . Also see 1
4. No music and sound
Why: trying to do to many things at once, also no backupplan
Solution: I'll take care of that befor I start making my next game...
5. Game rushed.
Why: See 1
Solution: See 1
6: Writing stupid posts in the forum
Why: Priceless...
Solution: Not doing stupid things about which I can write later
Um... gomen!
Anyway, I guess the most important lesson is that Deadlines really help, so one (or at least I, dunno if that is the same for everyone else;-)) should make the early enough, exact enough (like: "Until next friday I have to finish the script finished", not "Well, untill friday I will finish the script, or maybe I take care of those characterimages, or maybe I only do half of it and than do teh rest of the work in the next week"), and then respecting them like they were the real deadline (though rushing should be avoided).
Second lesson is to always have (several) backup plans, and trying to make the backup plans good too (As you can see, the "If I don't get a character image, I'll draw it myself" plan wasn't such a good idea... but then, even a game with a stick figure is still better than non, right? I hope...)
The third lesson is: Amatire!
Thanks to everyone else who participated, anyone who gave me advice and encouragement, and also to everyone else here in the forums (without which I would have never tried such a thing).I hope you all had as much fun as I had!

Amatire is the quenya word for "hope".

End of NaNoRenO Closing Message
To all who participated in NaNoRenO 2005, even if you didn't finish your project, kudos for taking the initiative and trying your best.
To those who did finish their projects on time, a sincere "congratulations" for the sheer amount of time and effort that went into making your vision a reality.
And to those who did not participate, hopefully the finished NaNoRenO works will inspire you to start working on your own ren'ai game, and possibly even to participate in the next NaNoRenO. Ganbatte yo!
P.W.

Life is hard.
Except in ren'ai games.
Then it's a whole lot softer.

Perhaps the clock is counting up the time for Merlin to finish his NaNoRenO game.
Can't... resist... Arthurian... humor...
Or perhaps we've unknowingly begun "LazORenO" - the challenge for extremely apathetic developers where the deadline gets farther and farther away so you never have to worry about finishing on time.
P.W.
P.S. - "ProCrastORenO"? "ApathORenO"? "LagORenO"?...
