I am trying to get a logo for my game, but I first need to choose which main menu to use. Please pick one and comment which you like.
1.

or
2.
The story is about a girl wanting to be queen and participating in a competition to obtain that title, but loses one of her wings, so if she doesn't find it soon she will be disqualified, which is the reason why the main menu is designed as is. I need also feedback on how the background behind the word choices should look like, or if it's fine.
This is important so if you see this, pleeease vote!

I think the second choice is a better composition.

I also think the second one is the better choice because the thinner and more realistic clouds in the first one doesn't fit with the art style of the girl. Overall, the second, including the background behind the word choices, is just more consistent.

I third everyone else here-- the second one has better composition and the pose looks more natural. I'd say you might not need that transparent cloud behind the menu options, though-- it looks a bit out of place and the text does a good job of separating itself from the background on its own.

I also recommend the second choice. One thing that I also noticed that wasn't mentioned yet is that the girl is a bit overly big compared to the text box. It draws the viewer to look at the girl and not notice the start menu until a second later.
In the second option both the girl and the start menu draw the view equally, so you notice both at once and can then focus on the girl. In the first one you 'have to search' for the start menu. That isn't a big deal since it only takes a second, but can be a tiny bit annoying if you happen to start the game often.

I agree with everyone! The second option is much more interesting composition-wise, and it does a good job of hinting at what the story might be about.
I know you didn't ask for it, but if I may add something then I think your clouds look sort of stiff? They can easily be fixed by looking into cloud tutorials online though - they're super easy to follow and you get a really cool result by using them, but it's up to you of course :^)
That being said, your story sounds interesting! Good luck!
