Live2d and traditional animation

I really tried looking for this question elsewhere. For those who work in Live2D: does the software work with traditional animation components (think different pictures for different points in an animation). Would live 2d be able to use them?

For example---if I've already drawn the keyframes for the mouth and the eyes, can the software connect those separate images for blinking and speaking? Or is it animation only with that morphing system that seems to be focused on a single image and it's movement by keyframes?

I hope my question makes sense...

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it's possible in Cubism Pro (either 2.1 or 3.0). Free has a lot of limitations that make this more difficult. (I'm not sure the support is intentional on Live2D's part, though; Cubism is just a very sandbox-y / multipurpose tool.)

There's a few different methods, but the one I'd recommend involves adjusting the opacity of each frame layer in a parameter timed to your animation.

Would you like a tutorial? I have a rough one written up, but it's a lot of text for a forum post haha.
