I've replaced the participant entry with release list:

http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 726#p65726

(Don't worry if your game isn't listed just yet -- I'm playing them thoroughly so it may take a while, plus coincidentally this week has been DEADLINE week as will in real life).

Studio MAB are still working, but I have say that my team (MorningStar Zwei) are definitely not going to be releasing before the deadline :/ It turns out that going to a convention (and running a table in the dealers room...) on the last weekend of the month actually gets in the way of writing a VN...

We'll try and get an alpha release out tomorrow so anyone who's really interested can at least preview what's been done; and we'll try and make it so that savegames from the preview will work to continue through the full game once we've written the end of the game (but I can't absolutely guarantee that will work, since it obviously depends how many changes we make). In any case we will release when it's done.

Not sure whether the other Studio MAB project from Jake will come out on time or not; I think he's working hard as we speak ... type ... ;)

Precisely one day left, so I will officially announce my participation with a second game (started last Wednesday if I recall right) - it will be very very close for our team, but we still have 24 and 1/2 hours as I type now. A short game, of course, but it's it's such a race against time, it will be decided by hours whether we make it. And yes, I should be working, but I have been the last 5 hours, so I need a mental break. :P

MAB >> Best of luck to you! This last-minute rush is really nerve-wrecking :) I so want to make it in time...

Man, if you'd told me this yesterday, I wouldn't have spent a couple of hours drawing stuff for Zwei this morning when I could have been drawing pornography!

More or less - I should probably be able to get something out for the end of tomorrow, I only have a few more CGs, a couple of character sprites to draw and some music to add into the script. But I may be a day or so late, and if it happens I'm not going to worry too much, since I started two weeks late and I've had to spend a day or two on personal-life issues recently.

Argggg!!! roughly 3 hours left!! PANIIIIIIIIC!!!!!!!
*tries to calm down*

So, keeping with tradition, Trecevidas and me have failed yet another deadline . However, we will break a bit the tradition, and won't let the project stall like we did twice with FoJ (on NaNo'06 and Int'08). Trecevidas is almost done with the art: a missing bg here, a couple of adjustments there, and that's it. On the scripting part, the "HardCoReNo" idea didn't work out (yet not because of limiting myself to a single week, but because of having a too busy week that didn't let me focus as much as I had planned into the project). This week I'll also be quite busy, but still I hope for a release by the weekend or even earlier. Until this project is finished, I'm entering into what I call Akroma mode: No rest. No mercy. No matter what.

Good luck to everyone else, and gratz to all those who have already finished!
I have failed to meet my deadlines so many times I'm not announcing my projects anymore. Whatever I'm working on, it'll be released when it is ready :P

I am racing against the clock here as well, less than 3 hours to go, but I have to take a break now. I'll resume work at 10, it will be very close until midnight. But I have strategically taken a nap when I came home quite beat, figuring that this is the better tactic than to push it continuously. But I have to go now. :P

I was in the middle of building distributions, and the power went out. My computer turns off, my monitor is fried.

I sobbed and wailed and stormed for an hour in front room like a lost child ... just like Limitations a year ago, another soon-to-be-completed game lost to a hard drive failure during NaNoReNo, I've had it cruelly yanked away from me. It wasn't so much about the competition as having it done, feeling proud and a little sad it was over, and being able to say I had it done ...

Now ...

Thank you, team!

Well, Josh donated his monitor so I'll be releasing any moment. I'm just checking to make sure I didn't forget anything.

And ... it's done. http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... =30&t=4919

What's the time stamp for Nano ending? When April 2 comes, the game doesn't count as Nano anymore? I mean, sure release the game, but since it's out of the window its preferrable to tweak it since its pointless to rush at this point. So as of this writing, Jake's game is the last game to release within the Nano window, unless something sneaks in from someplace between California and Hawaii in the next 4-7 hours.
