If you're a creator thinking to sell your game on itch.io, right now I wouldn't advise it. They're very late with payments and sadly it appears it's not just me:

I hope this gets solved quickly of course. But as it is, the situation is VERY WORRYING...

Re: a word of warning about itch.io
Just wanted to say I also have a payout that's been pending for 21 days. Funnily enough, another payout I put through my main itch.io account after the 21 day one was sent out like two weeks ago... It seems like they've been slowing down a lot lately; can't say I'm not disappointed. I also have a support e-mail I sent them over three weeks ago still waiting for a reply.

Re: a word of warning about itch.io
That's really terrible. Itch.io has always seemed like a place more suited to non-commercial games to me, which has been said before by others, but this is just awful for you. I'm really sorry this is happening and hope it gets fixed soon.

I got a reply by email this morning, looks like the situation should be fixed in a week or so (I presume also for everyone else). Crossing fingers

Re: a word of warning about itch.io
I really hope they'll be able to fix it and it really is just a temporary issue caused by the new European information control laws. Itch.io has always been a really indie developer friendly site - customizable, open, easy to use, etc. I'd be really sad if they couldn't overcome this hurdle because I like the site but well... a site that doesn't pay devs what they're owed isn't really usable. :'D I still have faith that they'll fix the issue tho!

Re: a word of warning about itch.io
Today after filling the new tax form, I got the first of the many payments they owed me, so I think everything is solved
