Mannequin [2D Character Portrait Generator]

#1 Post by Morhighan » Wed Jul 18, 2018 4:47 pm

Hi all! I came across a cool bit of software on itch.io and thought I might share it here.

Mannequin is a 2D portrait generator for video games and other creative projects. I've been messing around with it a bit and am really enjoying it. I think for myself if would be great for prototyping, but it the characters made with it can be used in commercial projects.

This seems really useful! Thank you for sharing. :)
Craving for a slightly historical mystery VN with an unusual presentation? Some amount of psychological or folk horror? A bit of weirdness? I got you covered.

I don't usually make full-on anime style games myself but for someone who's starting out and needs character sprites this is a great opportunity - as well as for prototyping. Might be useful for like a weekend-long game jam where there's limited time for drawing.
