character screenshot >> Awww, cute! Excellent! Looking great so far. The only suggestion I'd make for the art is that if he's got black hair against a black sky background, it might help to have a thin outline around the hair in white or light brown/orange.

About the best backgrounds somehow ending up being the least used, aargh, I so know what you mean! I had that with WIRTW as well!

And if the "yelled at" comment was me... sorry -.-;; I don't want to be discouraging in any way. I think several people have found it helpful to have a small game under their belt to find out everything that's involved before getting on with the larger things. It sounds like you're making excellent progress on this game - I'm impressed by your speed - so I wish you the best of luck for a speedy completion & release! :D

He is cute! I can easily imagine him in an SD doll form. ^^
Taleweaver wrote:Mikey... if I had the time and skill to do it in Ren'Py, I'd do it myself. Unfortunately, I am currently lacking time severely; both time to learn how to DO Ren'Py (and yes, I've tried it intuitively, and I just can't get the graphics implemented and I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I don't have the time to look for what I did wrong which is what I already said and the stuff in these brackets is getting way too long now) and time to work at the script for "Foxtaile".
Have you checked out my new-spangled Ren'Py tutorial? I would greatly appreciate your input on it if you have time to look it over. =)

Ren'py definatly needs some kind of interface to go with it. I wonder if anyone's found Tage yet?

i've hit a snag in production,
blame the nice weather and my veggie garden wanting to be planted.
Also i agreed to do sound for my schools play so i've been busy helping make the set and settign up sound cues for the play
its 'Cat on a hot tin roof' please some one kill me -.-
I didn't want to do it, but i owned it to our Tech Director whos a old friend.

And today i woke up sick as a dog.

I don't think I'll make my planned release day of thursday now. particualry since i'm redoing character images.

On that note, do the character images have to be the same size as the window, or is that not needed?

Assuming this is a Ren'Py question, then the answer is no. If an image is smaller than the window, then it will be centered horizontally and aligned with the bottom of the window. (This can be changed by saying things like "at left" or "at right".)

I figured that, but some people may confuse it with homosexual, which is the exact opposite.

Sugar, honey or plain?

Well, it's not Thursday then, never mind. Since you are already so far along, we can wait one or two more days... Are we talking the full game here??

And now school has decied to be mean to me again >.< 2 papers to write, a 1act play to write, many worksheets and of course math is ever looming over me -.-;
