I think an ideal solution would be a database with a Japanese/English checkbox in the sidebar that would filter site wide. (Including the random button, and all searches) This would allow the user to decide what they want to see without excluding anyone.

VNDB already has plenty of filter options - and there are far more languages possible than just Japanese and English.
Just for starters, I commonly encounter Chinese, Korean, Russian, French, and Spanish games in there - those are just the ones I see most often, there are plenty of other possibilities!
