I've been looking for a list of articles and guidelines for designing Visual Novels with accessible design, and haven't really had much luck. To me Visual Novel focus on; text, images, sound, and presentation, and most suggestions for game accessible design didn't really have that focus.Accessible design is defined as a design process in which the needs of people with disabilities are specifically considered.
The only thing I've found that was relatable is the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium (WAI) guidelines and standards for web and mobile developers (https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidel ... new-in-21/).
While I'm human and can't account for every little thing and have to work with what's out there. I want to practice mindfulness, and do the best that I can to ensure that my games are at least designed with accessibility in mind.
Does anyone else have resources or article on accessible design that could work as well?
