How do you stay motivated to finish?

All good ideas and maybe it's weird but I'm really secretive about my projects. I don't feel safe showing people pictures, especially code I've worked on. I'm actually using an online project organization type ...thing. And I really like it

You will never ever ever finish. Anything you create in software can always be improved, in many ways. Also, you will use one thing as a back story for another thing and you will have to modify the original to accommodate the new creation. Whatever you create in the software will have bugs and flaws or design issues. As soon as it "works" and you have something else to work on, release it as a work in progress. You will get feedback on where people had a problem, they are part of your quality staff.
