I'm making a visual novel for NaNoRenO, and it's done, but I've been stuck on the licencing part. I made it with Renpy. Renpy has its own LICENCE.txt and says that
"While the Ren'Py license is included, you'll also want to decide on a license your game is under, and include that in your game. (Say, in a file called LICENSE.txt.) If you don't include a license, it means that people can only redistribute your game with your explicit permission. If something were to happen to you, we couldn't keep distributing your game."
Anyways, I was wondering, how would I go about doing this? It's only a demo, so I'm not interested in selling it, but I want my artists art to be protected and my code, and the story. I've been looking at licences, but it's all very confusing. What do most people do? Ik what to do for the Renpy licence, just for my games protection in general, what do I do?
thanks for reading.

Re: Question About Game Licence!
https://creativecommons.org/licenses. It explains what each license should be for a determinated item. I think the license you look for it's this one:
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/
