A simple image sharing question, I did look for an answer...

I noticed when I inserted an image it wanted a max width of 800pk but I just saw in a post where someone was sharing an image that it was clickable, opened large and I was able to save it. So, there must be a different way to either insert an image or share an image (a preview in the shared image was not big) so what do I need to do to share images?
