Atom not working

So as recommended by renpy I am using atom, renpy language support is available, the snippets are in my snippets file, but for example when I type menu it doesn't trigger the snippet, by pressing ctrl+shift+p I can even see that these snippets are available but they just don't trigger, the snippet window just never shows
Does anyone know how to solves this?

Edit: so I tried my best to see what's the issue, the atom in my renpy directory does not auto complete, but the atom I installed separately works!
