How to Build a Community
Exactly what it says on the tin. How do you build a community around your game? I've been to a bunch of forums, apparently the most active in the world, but most of them don't have a lot of users interacting very often. This place used to be bustling a couple years ago, now it seems pretty rare for people to comment on each other's stuff and, even more surprisingly, rarely respond when someone comments on their game. You think people would be stoked to reply to people's interest in their game, but that doesn't seem the case. So how do you build a more active community?
Hey, I'm making a game about kissing cute fast food mascots! Check it out here right here.

Check the discord, it's far more lively.

Communicate with fellow VN people, too. Check out and play their stuff. Support them. Definitely go to Deviant Art and other sites. I have made my own tiny community simply by being on there.
