Games You Want to Play

I'm curious as to what games other people might want to play. e.g. what game, if you saw it advertised, would you purchase on the spot if someone was just awesome enough to create it?
I'll throw out one...
Danganropa...but with adult characters. (Or I suppose
Squid Game the Murder Mystery)
16 (or 12 or 20 or whatever) adults with particular skills, who are hard on their luck, are promised a lucrative job by a sinister billionaire. When they arrive, they find they're trapped on an island and can only escape (with prize money) IF they can kill another person and get away with it. If they do, everyone else on the island dies. And if the last two are able to solve all the murders, they escape with an equal share of the prize money.
You could have an intersting cast of characters - think injured athelete, dancer/gymnast/other type who retires early past her prime, homemaker who lost a spouse, struggling artist, disbarred lawyer, etc.
Anyway, curious what other people think would be fun/interesting to play (if it only existed). And who knows? Someone else might be aware that the game you want to play actually *does* exist and provide a recommendation.

If you liked Squid Game there are quite a few "death game" VNs aside from Danganropa, though most generally still have characters in the teen to young adult range. Examples include The Zero Escape franchise, Exit/Corners, and Remember, Remember.
What I want is a VN similar to The Ember Knight webtoon. Fantasy setting? Check. Murder Mystery? Check. Secret you can't reveal to anyone? Check. Character who excels with brains in a world of brawn? Check. Multiple plot threads? Check. Only things that would make it better were if the MC was female and all the characters were aged up by a good dozen years. (Soooo many VNs deal with teens or young adults; give me a cast that actually has some life experience.)

I may check some of them out, thanks for the suggestions! (Although I really do want games with adult protagonists. As someone in her 40s, I'm kind of bored of teens.)

Most of the cast in Zero Escape games are adults, with fleshed out backstories, actual jobs and knowledge that contributes to solve the puzzles and problems they face.
As for my preferred type of game, I'd like to see more games like Shin Megami Tensei or Persona, fantasy setting (doesn't need to be post-apocalyptic), mythology or philosophical themes, multiple endings, maybe some rpg elements like combat or stats-raising.

I'm definitely going to have to check them out then.

That sounds really interesting. (And more fun than yet another teenager. Not that I hate teenagers, but I really do find adults to be more interesting at this point.)

If you like philsophical games, "Planecape Torment" is ancient, but a classic for a reason.
