Actually, that was my doing - I had to restart the server program. It seems to wedge up every month or so.

Hi. I just tried to upload a new game, "Vera Blanc and the Carpathian Horror"
I'm not sure if the zipped file (vera-carpathian.zip, 47MB) was was successfully uploaded (the listing for the game appears in "Unapproved games".

If the game was not successfully uploaded, please delete the listing and I'll try again some other time.

I've approved the game. The file doesn't seem to have been added, but I'll approve it separately.

Also, the game "The Lonely Boy" was rejected due to a virus.

Dumb question, probably off topic. I've made two posts in the completed games sub-forum with links to renai.us, where I uploaded the game.
Am I permitted to attached the files for my non-hentai completed games in the completed games section of this forum?. MY games are made using Novelty.
I didn't see anything about this in the rules here, but figured it would be better to ask.

Yes, you can use any engine you want. Only the forums with Ren'Py in their names are Ren'Py-specific.

I jsut tried to connect to renai.us and got the following error.
I just tried to connect to www.renai.us and received the following error message:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hello. Saturday (7 May) I uploaded an updated release of "Vera Blanc and the Silver Mine Specter". It is still showing as unapproved. For Version 2 I used the same file name for the zipped file as I did for Version 1. Should I upload again with a different file name for the zipped file?

Hi. The problem with it is that the current release shows that you uploaded a .jpg file for the release. It's a game we're looking for, not a picture. You should upload the new file with the different version number.

Hello. Thank you for the response. I uploaded the jpg at the same time as I uploaded the first release, which was a zip file. I will re-upload the update (version 3) with a different zip file name.

There are a lot of problems with renai.us - the biggest being that there's no good way to contact the submitter of the game, to let him or her know what's wrong with their submission. I need to rewrite the site, but there's a matter of getting around to it - if some student of web programming is looking for a project to show off their chops, this might be a good one.

I'm fairly sure the problem was entirely my fault (using the same zip file name).
It appears, based on the attached screen shot, that I successfully uploaded version 3, the file is awaiting approval.

On 9 May I uploaded version 3 of "Vera Blanc and the Silver Mine Specter" to renai.us. I used a different file name. It has not yet been approved. Is there something wrong?
