Do anyone have experience of using music from albums?

I mean I like some music - and of cource rights are protected, and I have no money to buy such things))), my question: Did anyone use popular music in his VNs? Amateur genre, closed fan sector... Is it so dangerous? Who will know? ))) If my game is not commercial? Even youtube block music on some videos.

As a general rule of thumb, you shouldn't really be using copyrighted music even if your game is free and really obscure. (And even if your game is commercial, you'd probably want your own original soundtrack anyways)

But anyway, in my game I will use specially maden by freelancers music "like that samples that I sent to you". In such way, I hope there are no problems...

Magnatune offers "complete" songs (with vocals) and they are VERY generous with non-profit projects.

Yeah, someone owns the rights to the actual music, not just the vocals.
