Yeah, it's almost like he's already demonstrated a perfectly good, working engine and thus has already backed his modest claims up or something.

You came out the gate with wild and unlikely claims, only had a crappy falling-apart-at-the-seams engine to show for yourself and were unnaturally defensive and paranoid whenever anyone asked you anything at all. That's why people treated you with suspicion, not just because you were offering a business deal or an engine that wasn't Ren'Py. And for future reference, asking questions and informing you as to why your blather isn't acceptable isn't called "trolling" by reasonable people. What you're doing here, on the other hand, is pretty close.
