Ah, thank you so much! That was precisely what I was curious about, it just hadn't occurred for me to phrase my question that way. : ) Thanks a million!

Hi, if I can ask one question...I had a thread for a game I was working on a while ago, but I basically ended up scratching a good part of it, and now I have a lot more content to show for it. Would it be okay to start a new thread for it for neatness' sake? (I haven't posted on the old thread since...I think July of last year?)

I know a good number of threads that were "rebooted"/reposted from the original. I guess it's normal practice.
Actually I'm rather curious about what the mods think of this "practice".

Hey PyTom, I'm looking around the forums after a my "hiatus" from working on VNs, and I found these instructions about the Player Chat forum both here and in the "Creator's Corner Changes" thread. However Player Chat seems to be a locked forum. Is this part of the re-org that didn't work out and has been rolled back?

Yes. We kind of wound tup moving the entire WiP section into the player section, rather than the developer one.

Is there an minimum, update-requirement for the game's page?

Like, I'm working on my VN whenever I get the chance to, so progress is almost always being made.

Is there a requirement for how many times I have to update the game's page per week/month?

Would it be fine to post in the WIP forum if you have all your assets done and whatnot, but all you're doing is writing the story code and putting it together? I'm making my demo right now and would like to put it out there for others to play and, as I add a new chapter or so, update the demo. Does that still have to count as an idea? Cause, I've been working on this for a year already; have had 2 surgeries, a lawsuit battle when someone made me fall and knock out my teeth, lost my job, gained a new job, and am still dealing with health issues, yet I'm still making my game and have no plans on stopping it.

That's fine for the WIP forum. 'Ideas' is for anything that you don't plan on actively working on, which definitely doesn't apply to your project.

What if, I have a WIP VN but it still raw. so I could not complete the requirement to post a topic in this forum. like..:

1. Subjects: my VN doesnt have title yet (and that's why i want to open a discussion, to determine the title)
2. Description: is the only thing i have
3. Screenshoot/Assets example: are not yet digitalize (in form of sketch)
4. Reason/hope: ofc to get help from people here
5. Start Conversation: as long as i can make a post, i will do

I once posted a Question about Renpy in General Discussion Forum. and i dont want to make another mistake again.
help me with this.

Post it in ideas, it's for works that are too raw for Wip.

It was locked because it's not story-based. (Or at least, your thread doesn't indicate that it is, and the latest posts looked like content-free thread bumps.)
