You know, I normally wouldn't care much for a BxB game, but since it's you, Cyanide Tea, who are making it, I just HAD to read this thread. And I am very happy I did.

Backgrounds have had all their lighting variations made.

I know this is a nitpick considering that the light edits are made after the image is done, but I am weirded out by the fact that the shadows, especially the prominent bridge one, stay the same at different times of the day. Hopefully in-game there will be sprites and things to distract me. ^__^

Yeah, I'm not repainting the shadows. Too much work. The colour changes will have to be enough. It's not impossible to do, especially considering the shadows are on different layers, but the effort required would not equal the pay off. How many people would appreciate the hours it would take me to redo each time period? I would rather spend time doing CGs and such

We're hoping to have it out sometime this year. XD; Still not quite sure of an exact release date, but I'm working on finishing Shuuki's half of the story this month. :3

@Janrrah18, Yes, it's commercial We have divided the game into two halves (Shuuki's and Natsume's) that will cost $10 each, but if you pay Shuuki's you will get a discount for Natsume's, so both of them together will be $15. Thank you for your interest, I hope it holds up to your expectations!

Some of the later ones in particular look much better, so I am very happy with them. I'm currently at 15/30 so half way through the ones we have right now.

Does it answer your questions? BxPlayer game is like Zayay from Alera, we play as ourselves. And in this case, we play as the hero of the game (Shuuki) and chase after the boy.

I do not understand the question. As the player, you still have to play as a character, so essentially all BxG or BxB games would be BxPlayer...
