@HeungMao, try10
Thank you both

@Takeoverworld
I see. Because I did try crossing my arms the way he has, and it didn't feel uncomfortable to me? ^^;
But if it helps, I'll raise his arms slightly to make them shorter and lower the position of his hand.

I think the key to making the arm-crossing look natural here is, as stated just before, that the hands are in the 'elbow crease', and that the wrists are bent (very important!), like, his left hand is right now just reaching starightly towards the other arm, but it's supposed to be bent sorta upwards, resting in the elbow crease. It's true that positioning it like his arms are now isn't exactly uncomfortable, but you can't relax your arms like that, because they're not 'locked', so they would just fall back down to your sides if you relaxed after positioning them... I really hope this was understandable @___@
Glad to see you're doing it in your own relaxed pace again, things created with love and fun are usually a lot better than stressed results!

Maybe this will help.

- a redline for you
I don't know if I've mentioned it yet, but I'm really glad to see this game being made. The first (P)lanets was really cute and it looks like you'll be addressing all the problems I had with it in the sequel.

Ah, I see! ^_^ Looking at it again, the arms do seem a bit long.
Thanks for the redline Sharm, it's very helpful! I'll fix it right away!!

You could even go higher than Sharm's redline. I'm a dude, and when I cross my arms, my hands rest just below the nipples.

Okay, someone tell me if this looks any better before I go further, please!
I raised his arms up quite a bit and changed the position of his hand.
And because of what evgaming said, I tried to put his arms just a little under his chest area... I hope this is better.

Hmm, on the sprite where he's facing straight forward you may want to move his nose a little bit to the right, so it's centered with his chin/mouth. When doing sprites that are facing forward it's always good to check symmetry by flipping horizontally.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the way he is crossing his arms. :O I did that just now and it's completely fine for me. Not uncomfortable, forced or anything.
Anyway, I am really looking forward to this game! I absolutely loved the first one, and reading the newest updates got me so excited! And don't worry, take your time. You shouldn't give in to the pressure.

We are just so excited and we can't wait for (P)lanets 2! I'm sure it's going to be awesome, and waiting for it's release will definitely pay off!

It does look a lot better! Though I think it makes his right arm look quite thin (especially from where his elbow is to where his left hand goes in the elbow crease). I would also advise you to try to connect how would the hidden arm continue - it doesn't connect from his forearm to the wrist too well. I'd redline what I mean but seems I can't draw a line the way I want without tablet on me. And since you put the arms considerably higher, you should pay extra attention to the angle the arms take from shoulder to elbow - especially on his err left. It might be the fact the sleeve looks too straight while the arm is not though.
And as Omnificent said, it's always good to flip the image to check if it looks natural even flipped (not only for symmetrical faces). It might make you notice things you wouldn't see otherwise.
I love it when games with romance option have possible love interests both male and female. I wish there were more games like that. :<
