Tales of The Soju Masters: The Fall
(WIP Title)

Summary/Plot
Lana Weiss, a Soju "Master"(Magic user), meets Erika Jeanettetan, due Erika's need to get out of the country. After reaching the Big City. Lana sneaks in the Palace to obtains A soul.. Soon after she leaves She gets almost killed leaving the city. Due to the way I'm writing it, Lana and Erika will swap NPC and PC roles.

Multiple endings.. (Currently only "good" and "Oh Shi-" *bump* endings.)
Will be interactive.
May end up having "Series" save option depending on ending.

Story: 50%? (Due to the nature of the work I'm pulling apart my incomplete source material and writing new alternate story lines not only work, but if I fork and can combine paths again.)

Current situation: Creating a text only version of Chapter 1. Creating art for game. I found a Muscian.

Characters ("Main")

Lana Weiss
Full name: Svetlana Nakatotan Weiss-Brik - A small "woman who White hair is quite noticeable. Uses her "house surname," Keeps many secrets, Such as being the only child of any of the Legendary Four Soju Mistresses, and she's just under a 1000 years old, when no one else lives past 250.. Has a disguise as Elf Camilla Frostmane. You play as Lana for part of the story.

Erika Jeanettetan
Her surname is part of her personal history (it's actually her mothers first name), and doesn't belong in a house at the beginning of the story. A Big girl.. Made every bigger standing next to Lana. One speaks "one Language" until a certain point. You also play as Erika, during certain acts.

Lily Iota-Latione
Elf Queen/"stolen" soul. As queen she got stabbed in the back. After her death, she watches her "kingdom" being torn. Teaches Erika to speak her language in a magical way..

Beatrice "Bea" Frostmane
An Elf Inn keeper who knows more of Lana's secrets than she's letting on. Later revealed to be Grand Daughter of the real Camilla Frostmane.

Camilla Frostmane
Real: Best Buddy of Lana's until Camilla's death. Currently hinted as one of Lana's Former Lovers.
Cover:Lana in a magical disguise created after the real's death.

Vivian
A old maid who's seems to know of the plot and counter plots a little too well.

David
"Cross Breed" Royal guard.. Seems to know exactly Vivian's plans are.

"Mr Smith"
Queens Scribe.. Seems happy working in the office.. Is is a cover since his wife and daughter's death? He is also one of the few people who isn't afraid of Shinora's shows of power.

Shinora
Real name: Cynthia Smith
One of Lana's Trusted "aids".. Young and a bit clueless on some of the Soju skills work that she uses.. But knows how to make an entrance. Often shows off her power. Her Father is the queen scribe.

Hannah
One of Erika's buddies.. Ends up with a baby to carry.

Niu Hannatan
Child who's born with in the story. Her mother's name is never learned. Hannah turns in to a Foster mum.. Erika, Lana and Lily have a argument over the child due to her Soju "ability". Character may not actually appear but she does appear in the "intro" video.

My notes have 31 "characters," at present some are "duplicates", or "off screen" only Characters.

After seeing the title, I thought, "I've heard the word 'soju' somewhere before..." One quick web search later, I found that it's a type of alcohol native to Korea. As such, it might not be the best name for a type of magic or energy. Unless getting drunk is a part of the magic...

You're creating a sort of fantasy world, right? Therefore, what types of relationships are common or expected in your fantasy world? What do people think of sexuality?

Yeah, I know the Korean Drink. I pay a reference to it in the intro. Magical "Soju" does go straight to ones head.

I'll quote the opening monologue:

"My name is Svetlana Weiss. I am a Soju user. Some call me a Magician. Soju is really short for Soul Energy. {wait tag} Soul Energy, is energy of the soul, if one couldn't have guessed.
The name of Soju is said to have been decided over a dozen bottles of Cider. I however don't believe that story.
I strongly believe it was two dozen bottles. Why? I'd like to keep my secrets, for the time being."

"The Stone is a tool for detecting Soju type and how much power the holder has. Many users don't use them, but some Teachers and many learners carry one. If I had to say, I'm a teacher, but I've no pupils at the moment."

"Scratch that, I'm the only Soju Teacher in the land. Why? {wait tag} Formal education of Soju is outlawed except for certain conditions. Most of my pupils fell under those conditions. The others.... lets just say they never officially graduated."

"The reason for the ban of Soju is simply this: A Bad man abused his power and tried to take over a country.
Well, that's the official story from where it happened. I'd like to point out the place where it happened, But the fog and the other hills would prevent you seeing the place."

I will explain later, that Lana mother Nakato liked to party. Nakato was one of the first "true" Researchers, and helped to choose the name stuff with a few others. Nakato's own speciality is water based. She claims that some of her best work was done after a few bottles of her Cider, and with Babirye's breasts next her head, or Babirye's head against her own breasts. Nakato is Lesbian and her parter is Babirye.

Lana's more "sexual" than most people, given her mother lesbianism (and lack of father). She admits she's Bisexual, and only sleeps regular partners. One partner was the Real Cammila, We also come across some graphitti she left with her husband. Lana has lived for over four times the life expectancy of almost all non-soju enhanced people. She in a scene she expresses relief that she's not got to look for a person who she can leach their Natural Soju off, under the pretence of "Casual Mating." (Anan actually Woo'd the person who "raped" and stole her powers.)

Erika story involves her trying to work out her feelings for Lana and her sexuality. Initially, Erika isn't keen on the idea of having Lana as a Lover. Erika's story also has her still getting over her "husbands" death.

Outside those two, it really depends on who you ask. Same sex relations ships do happen usually behind closed doors, they're not law breaking, but can't get married in a same sex relationship. "Straight" relation ships are encouraged. Lana and Erika do bump in to a prostitute "Rukia". The first scene she thinks Lana is getting in on Rukia's action. Later on Erika and Rukia have to sneak across town despite not knowing the other's Language.

Yes! Another yuri game in lsf. +1 Well, my friend you have my support. Your characters are interesting and I don't they are animal people.

Do you really need like 31+ characters? It seems a lot and making the job harder.

Actually the Number is lower, I've got the number from the amount of Names I've used. Daniel (Erika's Hubsand), and his sister Maxine, and a few others are mentioned only. For example, I named a shop keepers Assistant Fred, and he/she doesn't actually appear. As of yet, Maxine doesn't appear but she's sent a few letters. Shinora/Cynthia is counted twice.

I mention David's Girlfriend Keiya, in several scenes. But She never speaks to the main characters when they're POV. She does speak Lily, but Lana only hears her though a locked door. I have a scene with Susana only in for a few scenes. I originally wrote the story from Susana's and Keiya's POV, since I was going to explain Lilys death though them to a character called Taithin Eston for another imcomplete project. Quite of characters on my list are only in a single scene and may not even require a custom sprite. Currently "Smith/Jones," Clive and every other Guard can use the same sprites. I may even use the guard Sprite for David for some scenes. The character "Smith/Jones," isn't actually named it's just it's what two characters give him the name.

Some characters I'm thinking of not using. Tony and Gina (or Anthony and Georgina) roles can be combined in to one. (Set about 150 years after this story Gina actually appears in as the "Magician" in a "Pirates and magic" short story)

As it stands about 15 Characters have a need for sprite sets.

As It stands at the moment, "H-Scenes" are not really needed. It's more on the relationships than the sex.

I'm fine with not making them not furry, but I'd request that artist tries to make their Race stand out in a way that they aren't human or Elf.

I'm not sure how long the end project will be..
