PROGRESS REPORT No. 09
Hi there! I'm back. Big update! :3 (Or so I think).
I've been doing new assets lately, which explains the long absence. It's a bit sad that I work slow but I'm trying to improve. I have good news! Syn has been very experimental these days in improving the application. Rather than staying in XNA Framework, we have finally decided to settle on transferring to Unity!
YAY, MAC users can finally play the game! xDb
Aside from that, I've been working on new UIs and layout. Down below, I've made new designs for the Save & Load Pages of the game. I might have to revamp some former designs in order to fit this style. I find this more suitable to my liking c:
New GUIs:
The CDs rotate if you pick the upper or lower CDs. This is where you can store you save file and also load them up. If you have selected the CD of your choice, the ring on around the CD would expand then fade out. The CDs have various colors depending on the type of data files you have at the game.
One the first frame, it's the layout for the messenger system within the game. It's like having electronic email inside the game. The cellphone design is called iRecall. It's an in-game gadget somehow similar to a digital planner or cellphone. You can receive messages while you progress throughout the game.
Also, I've been drawing the guys of the main cast. I've finished sketching the Doctor, which I might add was inspired by few characters in some titles. I have yet to name them again, but I'll work on it in one of these days. Also, I'm currently sketching Patient. The progresses are down below. I'll be inking them as soon as I finish sketching them all, at least.

Not only that, I've been working on the battle system. Not much is added, but I've made battle sprites. Down below are the final render for the battle sprites of MC.
