Destiny or delusion?

Sanzo The Adventurer is another off-the-wall, crack-minded comedy that will have you laughing out loud!
Meet Sanzo Ogami, a famous inventor (and a complete idiot!)who sets out to test his new invention and ends up getting sucked into a strange world pool in the sky! He lands on a strange island. There he meets Kayo, a cute obnoxious amazon catgirl mysteriously stranded on the island, and after a huge misunderstanding almost gets him killed. Sanzo decides to take Kayo with him but can one screwy inventor and a feisty amazon catgirl really pull it off?

Hmm, looks like you're writing a humorous jungle princess story. I'm intrigued. It's kinda difficult to take the notion of a jungle princess seriously, since it's an appealing but incredibly unrealistic fantasy...

Anyway, sounds like your writing is going along well. Good luck!

Yes the jungle princess story has been done many times and often (while not intended) some of them were more comcial than serious. But this story isn't that type, it is a fun story with a colorful cast and a humorous adventure. At first glance Kayo may seem like the typical jungle princess but there is so much more under the suface, even a dark secret!

Sanzo wouldn't be the first crazy inventor in a flying machine that's picked up a jungle girl. But really, who hasn't done that?

I'm sure he's also not the first to fly a dinky plane through a whirlpool but it's still fun to watch.

Here's another screen shot.

the story is good. :)

I found the textbox kinda moving up and down after I click it. I think the textbox location should be fixed. and there's some text that missing ")".

Okay, this made me laugh. You've got a great sense of humor and the story is very lively, but polish is needed. Have someone else edit and proof your script--that alone will make a big difference.

I like your art a lot better than some of the borrowed assets you've used, because you have a consistent style whereas the borrowed assets don't. Consider a side-window for Sanzo, I think you could add to the humor potential with his expressions.

There are a lot of times when you describe actions at length in parenthesis. The challenge is always figuring out a way to "tell" action in a way that doesn't say, "I totally don't have an image for that." You might consider experimenting with NVL to come up with ways to "tell" some of the longer action sequences outside of the text box.

I hope some of that is useful. I enjoyed it.

psyduck - thanks, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Noticed the problem with the text box and will fix it. Also thinking of changing the text box itself.

saguaro - Thanks for playing and I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I'm going back over the script as I'm finishing it up and fixing mistakes and will have it proof read also.

I'm not happy with the backgrounds myself, the difference is too noticeable. I will have to locate more of the same style or just do them all from scratch. I like the idea of adding a side window for Sanzo and will use it.

I'm going to create CGs scenes to tell the action sequences, the text descriptions were a place holder. Thanks again guys.
