Hey guys!
I know it's been a long time since my last update - I've had to take a break to make some eating money - but I just wanted to say that I'll be back to work on this very soon. As usual, I can't give a fixed date for the next update but I'm definitely working on it.

Sad news though: a few months ago my laptop's hard drive went caput. That hard drive was the life source of LatL. All the PSDs were in it - every sprite, background, and animation. Hopefully that won't be too much of a problem. It did hit me hard morale-wise though.

Anyway, there MIGHT be a new writer on board to help me. As I've said before, I'm not a writer. I really appreciate all the wonderful feedback you guys have given for the writing though. Hopefully a real writer can do better.

Yeah, I've learnt my lesson.
So sorry again for losing those first few creature PSDs. D:
I'm happy to say I bought an external hard drive JUST for art now. Everythings there. I'm not taking any chances.

I played the demo and loved it~!
But I found a bug - whenever I save something on Oct 09, it goes back to the save I overwrote
So sometimes when I try to load a save, I load another.

Doh! That's something I'll fix for sure when we start the project back up.

Any hint where Sol is supposed to be? He came at park only once. And this will be commercial, right? I saw the 'Buy' button when I reached maximum affection for Nicholas.

He moves around a lot, so you'll have to look around for him at different places. Yes, the game will be commercial when it comes out; but as of now the game is in hiatus while ehcs is saving to support herself and I'm busy working on Culina. It's something that we're very excited about and want to finish, but there is nothing new to announce at this time.

I can't get over how excited I am for this game after playing through the demo. The writing is entertaining & the art is lovely, & I can't wait for it. Good luck!

Have you tried data recovery, yet? Similar thing happened to my external drive some years ago, but thankfully everything could be saved. It's worth a shot. =)
