A Blessing in Disguise [BxB] [Comedy/Romance] [6/23 update]

-- First update :: 6/23/2012 :: New cg((?)) sprites for the 3 main love interests, updated/changed plot, slightly changed profiles, new title, and added characters
::Plot::
-- Ever since the death of both his parents four years ago, 2nd year student, Taiki Akita, has been living on his own and taking care of himself, refusing any help from his family and friends. He comes home to an empty house everyday and works a few part time jobs to get by. He claims to be content on his own, but in reality hates how his life is turning, and with the constant pressure from other members of his family to move in with one of them and seeing how happy others look with the company, Taiki begins to crave companionship once again. As days go on, Taiki begins to think that the best thing he can do is give in and move out of his home. But one rainy day, on the way back from what he claims to be a terrible day, he is surprised to come across a small boy with the ears and tails of a cat pass out in front of him. Feeling a bit bad for the boy, he rushes him back to his house to treat him. The boy awakes and is grateful for it saying that he would have died if no one did what he did. Unaware of his own true desires and telling himself that he feels bad for the cat, Taiki offers the little kitty a place to stay saying that all he had to do is take care of the house and do some chores for him while he is at either his school or job. However, Taiki doesn’t know what he’s about to put himself through. Could this choice make his life a complete disaster?? Or is this one of the best things that ever happened to him?

-- Taiki is the reluctant hero of our story. He often gives of the impression of being stoic and quiet but is actually easily irritated and loud. He adopts Rui saying that he just feels bad for him when in reality he wants him to stay for companionship. Prior to the story, both his parents died in a car accident. Currently his cousin is trying to convince him to move in with her and her parents

Weaknesses: It’s a really long list
Likes: Taiki, sweets, following Taiki to school and touching things he shouldn’t be touching
Dislikes: Hiroto, bitter food, water, and failing when he worked so hard
-- Rui is an innocent catboy that Taiki found soaked in the rain with nowhere to go. He says he was abandoned by his previous master and practically left for dead if Taiki had not took him in. Rui is completely grateful to Taiki and loves him a lot for it. Taiki offers him his home under the condition that Rui will look after the house and take care of it while he is away. Rui agrees but has no idea what he had agreed to. Rui is completely clumsy and breaks whatever he touches. If that doesn’t sound bad enough, Rui barely understands anything he is being told and will always ask for a COMPLETE explanation. Did Taiki just make his life worse? Or is Rui going to be good for something else.
:: Hiroto Shiotani ::

Excels at: Computer designs
Weaknesses
Likes: Blackmailing people, Rui, spicy food, playing with people, and tricking saps
Dislikes: School
-- Hiroto is the loud and eccentric 1st year that goes to the same high school as our main character. He was also Rui’s previous owner who loved him a lot but was forced to abandon him because his parents could not handle the destructiveness the little kitty created. Moments before the story starts, Hiroto left Rui in the park aware that he has no idea how to go home. When Hiroto finds out that Rui is in Taiki’s hands, Hiroto begins to use it to his advantage and starts to blackmail Taiki saying that if he doesn’t do what he says he will spread a rumor that Taiki is doing “sketchy” things to Rui! Is what he doing out of jealousy for Rui?? Or Taiki??
:: Yuya Kanada ::
Age: 17
Excels at: Academics
Weaknesses: Easily fooled
Likes: Reading, studying, and being around people who make him happy
Dislike: Nothing really
-- Yuya and Taiki have been childhood friends since kindergarten. However, since the death of Taiki’s parents, their friendship has been strained a bit. He is very shy and withdrawn but seems to be a bit more open with Taiki. Yuya is one of the people that is trying to convince Taiki to move out of his old house and with another family member. Though Taiki can find him a bit annoying at times, he knows Yuya’s heart is in the right place. He is aware of Rui’s existence after an accident involving the two of them and Taiki and seems to get the wrong idea about their relationship.

-- Taiki’s older cousin. She is the loves to drop in uninvited and is the one who always tries to convince Taiki to move in with her and her parents.
:: Michiko Onoda ::
Age: 17
-- She is one of Taiki and Yuya’s classmates. She is sweet and popular among the boys. She hates cats however, and is Taiki’s crush for part of the story.
:: Hotaka Kanada ::
Age: 8
-- He is Yuya’s little brother. He is the complete opposite of his older brother and lovers to go out and play.

Not really my type but I can totally give it a try!
But I did have another bl project that had more routes and depending on the route the mc could be either, of course it seemed too big for one person so I'm scraping it for now or until I could find anyone who's willing to team up with me for it.
