Kimeru - to decide [Drama, Friendship] - Dropped

well,i'm gonna pop an idea,but might be a stupid one,but anyways,here it goes.since the genre thingy is giving you trouble,why not make a double character game?make both a male and a female mc and the player can choose between them....again,sorry if it's stupid

It's not a stupid idea though the coding would be kind of horrendous. It'd basically be like making two games. But that's not why the genre was giving me trouble.

Kimeru began because I wanted to learn to code games with Ren'py. From there it evolved from being just a simple dating game with two obtainable characters to much more. The game as it is now focuses more on mental health and making connections with people. But that's not exactly a genre, lol.

I'm still thinking about it, but I've kinda liked the thought that people could decide what Adrien looks like themselves.

i see.truth be told,that's an extreme weird point of view for a game,far from anything i've met until now.you make the most weird games seem normal now.buuuuuuuuuuut....who ever said i liked normal? (∩_∩)

Oh my god, an update! Don't everyone die on me or anything, now, lol. But no seriously. I just received a new lovely netbook for Christmas. I've begun working on the script for Kimeru again and temporarily testing out new backgrounds, fonts and am thinking about making a new GUI. Sadly, I do not currently have photoshop nor my folder of resources on my new netbook. My desktop's motherboard died and I cannot get to my photoshop files. Just luckily before it died, I happened to copy the folder of Kimeru to a memory card so I can work on it. Yey.

Apologies again to anyone reading this who I was going to code for or do GUI for. I am very poor and this gift was a complete and utter surprise from a relative who felt bad my old laptop had died on me. But I am not giving up on Kimeru and I had not intended to. Just wanted to give everyone a little update on that. ^^ Thanks for your time.
