Oh My God.

The GUI looks yummy, the characters are delicious and the concept itself is totally mouth-watering -- it's taking me everything to stop myself from licking my computer screen

Totally excited for this!

Thank you for the very kind words! Things are progressing along quite nicely with writing improved, and all graphics in except for the backgrounds which we are still on the lookout for. If anyone is interested in creating backgrounds, please let me know as I am looking very forward to getting this project out there, but I don't want to use the photo placeholders that are currently in place.

Cheers!

How did I not see this before? D: D: D:

It is a game about cooking. I will play it. That is how it works. Also, not sure if it's already been mentioned, but shouldn't "Suprise!" be "Surprise!" ? (Referring to screens in first post.)

I'm so glad to hear you say that! I'm working very hard to make the mechanics of the cooking game to work greatly.

I also have some other wonderful news, the lovely and talented Auro-Cyanide is going to be doing some backgrounds for us! I've seen a work in progress shot of one of the backgrounds and all I can say is... wow.

That being said, the release of the first game is closely approaching, and I can't wait to show it to you all.

That being said, I'm still looking for proofreaders/beta-testers for feedback on the game in the current state.

Cheers!

... I also have to wonder how I missed this.

I love cooking. I love games. How did I miss a cooking game? That's just deplorable of me.

I echo the whole "how did I miss this."

The important thing is I didn't miss it NOW and I *will* be following. =)

Hey guys,

Just to give a little update. Auro has been working on some amazing backgrounds for the game. For a little preview of what the new backgrounds will look like, she has posted an amazing new tutorial about doing backgrounds using some of them here: http://auro-cyanide.deviantart.com/art/ ... -339419529

Edit: or rather, there is a thread about it here at http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 46&t=18227

If all goes well, my plan is have the first game completed by January 15th. (I'm unable to work until the game until the end of December as all of my time not at work is meeting my next book's writing deadlines.)

I'd love to hear any and all feedback!

Those bgs are really amazing. I'd be afraid to put my own sprites next to them, they look so good! Your sprites work wonderfully with them though.

Thank you so much! It really means a lot to hear you say that, I'm really happy with them as well.

And along that same line of conversation, I now have all of the backgrounds needed to release the first version of the game! Now, I'm just going through the script one last time, making changes as necessary and adding in little things here and there, revising music and the like but it should be out very soon.

Thanks for being so patient, and I can't wait to show you guys what I've been working on for however long it's been so far. :-)

Well, I don't want to double post... but I just wanted to let everyone know that right now, my plan is to release the game to the public on the first! I've done a lot of the game and apart from getting the marketing info down and the website up, it's all good to go!

I'm very excited to hear what you guys have to think of it, and I'll be posting it in the Completed section when it's completed. I'm working on a video right now for the intro which I will also post.

I'll just leave a screenshot here, and I'll write more soon. Cheers!

Update: And for those who want to see the trailer http://youtu.be/nU8T44I-_sw!

*looks at Dante Moreni, then to title where is BxG...*
*Starts Crying.*
"Dammit! Why there are so few games where you are free to chose your orientation"
Spirits look nice... *Tying to stop crying that there is no BxB option since Dante is so cute*
Defiantly going to play this. Good luck!

I hear you, everyone loves Dante.

Depending on feedback received there may be changes made in future games, and as you don't meet Dante til the second game, there's still time for things to work out. The thing is without going too far into spoilers, relationships happen and they are vital to the setup of the game so I'm unsure how to work that in, but I will certainly see what I can do. All of my future games will probably be AllxAll, but we'll see. This is my first full title so I wanted to make sure that the title would actually get released so...

And on that note. This will probably be my final post on the Works in Progress board for this game so... Cheers!

This game is pushing all my buttons. ALL MY BUTTONS.

Love simulation games, love cooking/restaurant games, love dating sims. To have everything in the same pot? YES. HELL YES.

I'd play this even if the art consisted of stick figures. Now I'll have to haunt this thread. Seriously, good luck with your game! Definitely looking forward to this one.
