Ooh I remember seeing this when I was randomly browsing around DA/Tumblr. I believe I'm following your WIP blog. *A* The environments are gorgeous (love that cafe-looking one) and I really dig the character designs! It's rare to see games with actual monster/alien characters, so this is great. Plus they all look amazing! Harpy and Sea Nymph are just beautiful. <3 It's tough to comment on the story/writing yet since there isn't much detail on it, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this progress. *_* Best of luck! <3

Mmm that genie.
That genie wants youuuu!
(Probably. Who knows? She's usually kinda grumpy.)
:B I'm glad that you like the look of it so far. The incubus is still up in the air; he's in an awkward place right now where he might not end up being anything but an NPC. Those would kind of be extra arms; they're like inverse wings (I just didn't get to the film between them yet.) With hand things on the end. :< ...technically arms.
@Camille
Thanks! That's pretty awesome. I've enjoyed your work

It is cool to know that you're keeping an eye out! I have actually been wondering if it would be a good idea or a bad idea to post up the first chapter when I have it coded. (For alpha testing, kinda.) I just don't want to post a "teaser" when the game itself is still pretty heavily in the works.

Hmm it kind of depends on if you're going for more of a closed development style or open... I don't think it would hurt to post up alpha versions of your game since that way people might catch things earlier in development and save you a bit of headache later. :3 Since your game's still in its beginning stages, people should expect for things to change a lot by the end, so don't worry about that. XD

Yea, that's a good point. I'd really like to get to place where I could start picking up some proofreaders and such. Soooon!
In other news..
I totally started on some CG scenes.

Thank you

I'm definitely learning a lot by taking on this project. I want to get chapter 1 drawn and coded so I can release an alpha test and see how people like the writing.

I love these!
Umm... but may I ask if the manticore's tail comes out of its butt or it's tailbone *blush*
because drawing 2 made it look like it's coming out of its butt... feel your spine until it you get to your coccyx, the tail should drawn a bit higher than the butt area.

Love is good! It makes the world go 'round. And things.
Yea it's meant to be the tail bone. Thanks for pointing that out

I shall edit it once I do more work on it.

no worries. and yeah...I learnt in psychology, aggression is also shown in body language. This means people and animals make themselves 'bigger' to look aggressive. Maybe flare out her wings a bit more?

Tossing in some new WIPs and such!
I've decided to keep on drawing, even if my writer is incredibly busy!

Ooh, did the name change?
And, oh my goodness, those CGs are lovely! I love the lighting on the manticore piece and the pose for the harpy! I admittedly kind of miss the old engineer design (she had my favorite outfit lol), but she looks cool regardless! Keep up the awesome work.

@Arowana
Yea, I finally found something that I liked and the writer approved it as well. Jacob is the name of the main character so it works out.
As for the engineer, I do plan on trying to keep the old outfit; somehow her boobs had gotten ridiculously big in her old sprites. Something about that little jacket was driving me nuts! But I really like it, so I'll probably just have to find some references if I have to LOL. Mostly her face/hair color has gotten revamped, and her shirt may change to green instead of light blue. XD
